| The Sepang 5 custom alloy wheel is named after the Sepang International Circuit. This venue is used for the formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix and Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Hermann Tilke designed this circuit which was completed in 1998. It is 5.54 KM’s long with several sweeping corners, wide straights and a very long back straight separated from the pit straight by one very tight hairpin. Speeds of up to 350 kph have been recorded here. Juan Pablo Montoya of the BMW Williams F1 team achieved a lap record of 1:34.223 min in 2004. |
