| The Nogaro Circuit Paul Armagnac is a motor sport race track located near Nogaro in the southwestern Armagnac region of France. The track was built and held its first race meeting in 1960. Formula One stars in the making including Rene Arnoux, Gerhard Berger & Ricardo Patrese all drove on the track, helping to make Nogaro a significant motor sports venue. In 1974, Alain Prost, a relatively unknown driver at the time, won the Easter trophy for the Formula Renault Europe weekend held at Nogaro. The circuit is now one of a small number in the region to hold a full FIA event every year.
